I don't understand why they've flubbed Dany's storyline in general so badly. As far as I can tell, it's Viserys's storyline, but for some reason Dany keeps getting HBO SEXXAY scenes, you know? Which, like, it shouldn't be. Dany and Drogo have both really not been done well by, I think. I feel like Drogo never stood a chance here, since they give him NO SCREENTIME. What can Jason Momoa do? Dany gets a lot more screentime, but I think suffers from a combination of poor scripting and underwhelming/confused acting. I don't know if her actress really understands her role based on the script, you know? If I didn't know the source material and I'd been given the script I'd be kind of confused on what's the deal with my character too.

Really bothered by their handling of Renly at this point, actually: he seems to be problematically a GOOD candidate for king, which is going to make Stannis look like utter shit in season 2. Neither Renly nor Stannis is supposed to be a great fit for the crown.
